Dramaturgy

I bring my knowledge of art history, dance history, contemporary artistic practice, politics, and writing into my dramaturgical work to support artists.

My own experience as a dancer and artist gives a breadth and sensitivity to my dramaturgical practice: from choreographic feedback on gesture, form, and movement to writing texts and hosting aritst talks.

I work with artists to observe and refine the dynamics within a work, between a work and its audience, and between a work and its larger cultural and political context. In doing so, I support the sharpening and framing of work for its expression to the public.
